Nøkkevatnet (the Nix water)

This song is about a water well on my grandmother's farm, next to the main house. The well's water comes from a hole in the rocks right above the well. The water source is located on the mountains above.
The kids on the farm were told not to lean over the edge of the well or put their hands into it.
No one knows how deep the well is, the water looks pitch black.
So the nix might as well live there, according to the adult on the farm.
